Cottage renovations have been given reduced attention the past few
weeks - the really big items necessary (for us to live here for long
periods) to be performed by Paul are mostly done, with more time being
spent on writing by both of us and also some enjoyable hiking
(including great blackberry picking the last couple of weeks :)

This afternoon I uploaded to MoreLife.org updates to several pages,
mostly in the Personal Section including our statistics, diet regimen,
more diet ideas, and mental/physical activities. Also 5 pages of
photos that cover Olafur's visit to us in Casa Grande AZ are now
online; our outings to various places gave me lots of opportunity to

Paul has been active recently not only at sci.life-extension, notably
in a thread on happiness that developed out of one started on articles
at wikipedia (thread start:

- on which Olafur was also very active and articulate), but also
with work on the new Natural Social Contract. The "light at the end
of the tunnel" with this major redraft is actually visible. While we
thought that was the case at the end of last year, temporary
difficulties with consistency were encountered - always a serious
issue in philosophical writings and often not properly addressed by
many in that field - and our return to Ontario with the physical work
needed delayed all Paul's philosophical writing. Now he is moving
along with great vigor, but I hesitate to give any projection for
uploading since I was wrong before. I'll just say, "Stay tuned for a
big upload relatively soon."
