I and Paul have been enjoying the background streaming music that
originates from the website digitallyimported.com http://di.fm for
several months, when the dialup at the cottage was cooperating. But
since getting the broadband here in Arizona we've made almost
continuous use of it (visiting the sister station sky.fm for their
spanish guitar channels or other classical streaming stations when
first awake and before retiring for the night). I periodically post
to the di.fm message board with my comments on what we've been
listening to - there's a large group of listeners from all over the
world. Trance music lovers come from everywhere.
Well I saw a post a couple nights ago about a "frappr", and being in
between articles (Paul was editing my latest), I followed the link
to what is still a rather new tool created by but separated from
Google. I was pleasantly surprised at the tool, showed Paul and we
decided to create just such a "friend map" for those who support
MoreLife and/or the Self-Sovereign Individual Project and want to
learn more about each other. I hope that many others will find this
tool a welcome addition and will want to place a pin where they are
located (hopefully with a photo), create a "shout out" for everyone
to read and see where others are located too.

This tool is new so it's lacking some items - like a complete
database of towns in Canada (and probably other countries). The
closest town Paul could find (Barry's Bay) is ~50 miles away from
where we live when in Canada; he notified frappr.com as requested
along with the latitude and longitude for Harcourt Park. Hopefully
he'll be able to correct the location name on his "pin" soon,
although he was able to locate it accurately on our Canadian home
via the satellite image.
I and Paul look forward to seeing many members of MoreLife Yahoo
(and non-members too if they are interested) on this frappr.
