Hi Jennifer--
This is normally my wife's e-mail, but I saw your
plight and can sympathize, since I was one of those
husbands. We have twins as well (3-year old boy and
girl) and in the beginning, I was very inconsiderate
and it was very hard for me to realize that having
children (especially twins) meant that I needed to
help as well. Unfortunately, what helped us was time.
It took time for me to really bond with the children
for me be able to help out more. That is the
key...bonding. Have him spend as much time as possible
with the kids and slowly, little by little, he will
come around, as I did, and give up a bit of
selfishness and become a better person to you and the
children. Good luck,
Chris R.
