Description

Modern-Day Macrobiotics is the title of my book and I have set up this site for anyone who wants to get help with starting, practicing or developing his or her experience of macrobiotics.

Our style is open, honest and flexible. I am happy to discuss any aspect of macrobiotics without attachments to any of the concepts. In this site I hope we can share experiences and join together to make it easier to get the most out of a macrobiotic lifestyle.

The idea is to make this an interesting space to share opinions, perhaps gently challenge each other and become a valuable resource for anyone starting macrobiotics.

Dragana and I have four children and own a macrobiotic health food shop, café and clinic in London.

My sister, Melanie Brown Waxman, author of Eat Me Now!: Healthy Macrobiotic Cooking for Students and Busy People and her Cooklets brings her wealth of experience cooking, teaching and raising seven children, to this site, also.

Please read this disclaimer before joining the group.

Thanks and best regards,

Simon G. Brown (with co-creators: Gary Miller and co-moderator Bruce Paine)

Thanks for the welcome, am looking forward to the discussions.
Hello All, I am glad I decided to look for a group to help me get back into Macrobiotics. I started to learn about the diet and took cooking classes in 1984.

Recipes from Christina
Thanks for the link to Christina's recipes. The matzo ball soup recipe is a winner. It's really worth finding the whole wheat matzos; can't beat the flavor
