MMM 2003 was the smoothest,most "mainstream" legalization
event.... 2000 people, almost zero interest from police...
MMM looks more and more like regular festival, rather than
political rally. However media coverage was good/neutral,
and as usual, it seems politicians are more likely to talk
about legalization after MMM attracts media. We publicly
announced the list of 8 people imprisoned for cannabis only
out of 10 million. But Vaclav Havel is no longer president;
Havel used right to give amnesty to prisoners to virtually
veto some laws, including cannabis possession.

NoteTab. Here is how: First, make sure there is only one
blank line between paragraphs. Then be sure the paragraphs
don't have line breaks. Do this by clicking the "Modify"
menu, then "Lines", and then "Join Lines". To count the city
paragraphs click the "Tools" menu, then "Text Statistics",
then "More", and then scroll to the bottom to see the
paragraph count. It counts each blank line as a paragraph
too. So divide by 2.

correctly, can be fixed if you point out any problems with a
particular MMM city link. Send MMM city info, updates, email
and web address corrections, etc. to Dana Beal at
dana@... . Be sure to put "MMM" in the title
so that the email is not mistaken for spam. Some messages to
Dana Beal disappear or otherwise do not get through (for
many reasons). So send the message again if necessary. Feel
free to pass on the MMM city list. Paste it into email,
forums, web pages, etc.. Most email and forums will
automatically make the links correctly clickable if the

About the email addresses these MMM messages are often sent
to.

The "TO:" list of Yahoo Group email addresses are usually
for lists with public archives. Lists with public archives
can sometimes reach far more people, because non-subscribers
can visit the archives. The archives are easy-to-use and
divided by month.

The "CC:" list of Yahoo Group email addresses are for lists
with members-only archives. People can sign up just to
glance once at the archive, and then may never return. One
can be a member without receiving list mail. So these
private lists often have far fewer readers than their member
numbers indicate.
