Hi joyce! I just wanted to welcome you to our group! You officially

have the youngest heart baby in our group. Congrats on the new baby!!

We have all been through a lot with our heart babies and are here to

answer any questions you have and support you in any way we can.

    Can I ask what Cardiology group you see and what pediatrician

practice you go to?

Actually, my name is Michelle (Joyce was my maiden name). My little guy

will be 7 weeks old tomorrow. His cardiologist is Dr. Gleason, we go to

the Exton office of CHOP. His pediatrician is Kids First of West

Chester.

Hi Michelle,

Welcome. We also see Dr. Gleason in the Exton office and we use Kids 1st Paoli. Ella is the pediatrician's office 2nd HLHS baby (ever). Kids 1st has worked really well with Dr. Gleason. (I haven't had many dealings with her new secretary, but her last one was fabulous). Dr. Gleason is pretty fabulous too. Very clear and straightforward. You'll like her.

Thanks for sharing Michelle.... sorry about the name mix up. I looked at your email address and your name and just typed the wrong one when I replied! I am sorry. I was just curious on the Dr's since you are pretty close to us. Thought maybe we see some of the same Dr's. We go to hershey instead of Chop though. Adam's cardiologist is in Harrisburg. It is a drive for us but well worth it to see the Dr I want to see. I also work for Reading Pediatrics, which has an office in Morgantown so I thought maybe you were a patient there.

How is Payton doing? You are very fortunate that his procedures can be done via Cath instead of open heart? will he need any open heart? Is Payton your first child?
