i am pretty sure there is no such thing as "pre existing" cause anymore with insurance. PA has a great medical assistance program for kids with birth defects including heart defects! everything is covered 100%!

As long as you dont have a lapse in insurance coverage you should be able to get insurance without a problem. My kids have my husband's insurance and also...
