Hi, My Name is Deanna, we have just been informed that my son has
ADD ,we are not sure we agree with this diagnosis, and want to learn
all I can , so we can Help my son threw whatever Issues he may
have...
He is in Kindergarden and Learning wise he is doing GREAT, but
emotionally he is doing Poorly and even thou he doesn't hurt anyone
he has Frustrating outburtsts that Scare the Children in his Class
and his Teachers can console him -- I go too his school and spend
the day with him whenever I can -I have a 2yrs old daughter with a
Kidney disorter that I have to stay home with, but when Hubby is
home to watch her -I will go too school with Keegan and keep him in
line and to show the Teachers what I do to NIP his behaviour in the
Butt before he gets to the OUTBURST stage...
I am Frustrated to say the least, I just figured he was being a
Typical Kid, and now the school has him seeing a Phycyatrist? and
now a specialst says he has ADD, all this is Overwelming and I am
looking forward to Learning from you all, So I can be a Better Mom
and get My child Back on track so he can Handle his Emotions
Better...
We Refuse to give our son Drugs and If the school says he needs
them, we have talked about Homeschooling him so Advice on that too
is Much appreciated...
