right.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you.

The red and green leds represent the left and right leds on a "normal" L/S
machine. So any mode that controls left and right independently will allow
you to control the lights independently as well.

i have a proteus as well, and i have a question.  if it is addressed
in another thread somewhere please forgive me, but, when creating
audiostrobe sessions with mindexplorer, can you take advantage of the
green and red leds in this program?  i just can't seem to find it
anywhere, but i am new to the software.  this would make my day if you
could.  and i am not talking about the red and green flashing
simultaniously, but being able to independantly control the 2
different colors.  thanks...

Has anyone had any experience with "Awakening Mind 1" from
Enlightened Enterprises

He sells a book for $45 that sounds very detailed on how to achieve

Because its kinda pricy, I was wondering if anyone had ever read it

may be intersting for many users (I think):

Yes, you are understanding very well! There are two possible
approaches:

1. You can use the new part of the program - the AS ColorOrgan.
Simply open a wav file and press the Start button. The program
automatically detects signal peaks and adds the AudioStrobe codes.
You can customize the settings to make the lights flash as you wish.
Left and right (or red and green, if you use Proteus mind-machine
with it's Bi-Color light goggles) lights can flash independently.

2. Use the main program. Create a new session. Add some more segments
and adjust all stimulation parameters - simply create a new session
as usually.

2.1. Set the "Tone" parameter of all segments to PWav, dPWav, AMWav or
dAMWav. (If you don't know what these acronyms mean then refer to the
Help/Stimulation Parameters/Tone.) I suggest to use AMWav (it means
Amplitudely Modulated Wav). Freq1 controls the frequency of light
flashes and frequency of sound modulation. Now assign a particular
wav file to "Tone Wav File" at the main window. You can also adjust
the depth of amplitude modulation ("AM Depth" slider at the main
window). When you play this session, you can hear a sound coming from
the "Tone" wav file which is amplitudely modulated at the Freq1
frequency.

2.2. Set the "Backing Sound" parameter of all segments to Wav or
HB+Wav (Heart Beat+Wav). Now assign a particular wav file to "Backing
Sound Wav File" at the main window. When you play this session, you
can hear a sound coming from "Backing Sound" wav file mixed with
pulsed or amplitudely modulated "Tone" sound (synthetic waveforms or
wav file) or binaural beats.

You can adjust the Tone/Backing Sound and Heart Beat/Wav volume
ratios using the appropriate sliders at the main window.

The 2.1. and 2.2. paragraphs can be combined together, so it is
possible to use two different wav files at the same time in one
session.
You can also combine the "classic" pulse/binaural beats session with
a music coming from Backing Sound Wav File.
Or you can set the Volume parameter of all segments to 0, use your
favourite music as Backing Sound Wav File and you will get your music
unchanged but with AudioStrobe codes added.


Tip for session editing: If you want to change values of multiple
spreadsheet cells (in the same row), you can highlight them using
mouse (or keyboard - shift+arrow key). Then you can right-click on
some of them - use appearing slider to change the value of all
selected (highlighted) cells at once. Or you can select multiple
cells and press and hold the Value Up or Down buttons to scroll
through preset values.
