They say that the proteus has a advanced audiostrobe decoder but I
am not sure anymore.

I always connect the proteus to my hifi stereo to play my
audiostrobe cd's and they work good but when I connect it to the cd
walkman the lights don't blink fast. It is like they work slower and
don't respond right. The lights stay on all the time and sometimes
they will blink. There is a big difference.
I also tried different cd walkmans and two different proteus
machines and it did the same thing.

So I called the support tech and they said that the response is
slower because the cd walkman uses higher voltage.
I am not an expert tech so please don't quote me on that but they
said it has to do with the voltage. The cd walkman takes more power
and that's why the light response is slow.

The proteus is advertised as a portable unit with advanced
audiostrobe decoder to be used with cd walkman. That is not right to
advertise something that don't work right.

I jus purchased mind explorer light and sound synergizer. It is the
latest and the best audiostrbe decoder in the market.
I will compare them both and see which one has a better audiostrobe
decoder.
