Hi naivous,

I thought i would tell you simply. the console to go for is wither
the mind explorer audio strobe decoder, you can get one for a 150
Dollars from the offical website, it has been said to be very good.
great entraining, but it can only be used by connecting either to a
PC or a CD player. thats what you get for the price, So there is
absolutely no built in presets which is ashame.
If you want to have a machine with presets built in and also use it
connected to a PC and a CD player, then you could get the orion, it
is 119 dollars.
Now if you have the cash, and want to buy the best, or so they say
it is the best. It is the Proteus by the same company that made the
orion. it costs 189 us dollars, and id fully upgradable, I would not
use mindexplorersw unless you want to take your own music, a wav
file and then add audio strobe decoded light signals to the wav file
and then if you want to burn it to a CD and play on your CD player.
I say this becasue the proteus is said to come with the most
advanced software to make your own presets. it will really make you
go on a wild trip.
Now the orion came out about a 5 years ago, but the machine has been
updated a lille bit, but it has still all the same features to when
it came out, people say the features are more for fun than for
entrainment, and that no other machine has these features bewcasue
you don't need them, The features i cannot be bothered to go into, i
will just name them and you can check out the offical website and
read about them, they are micropulse and colourpulse look on and
read about them on www.syneticsystems.com
The proteus came out about 3 years ago. The company said they are
making a new machine, but no release date has been given.
Mindexplorer audio strobe decoder came out i think last year.

after christmas i will be buying both the orion and the proteus.

If you want you could but for 49 dollars a mind machine know as
mindfield glasses and use them connected to your pc. a german
company are making them, they said after christmas they will take
orders for people who want glasses made to their exact requiremnt
that will cost 89 dollars. The glasses are good only if your going
to be connected to their pc, they have been said to be a great start
if you want to see what these mind machines do, so this is an
affordable way to see what it like bedfore you go and spend the big
bucks.

good luck and check these websites out

www.syneticsystems.com
www.mindfield.de

I hope i have helped

Yours Andy
