Thank your Roger,

I watched this Steve Murray DVD about getting an attunement for
psychic abilities. It was intereating. I notice that I can see
colors more vibrantly.

Hi Jessie,

Sorry I didn't answer you sooner - I forgot that I had my settings
temporarily set to no mail!

The Crown Chakra is from where we make our connection to the Divine -
our spiritual connection. This chakra links you to the cosmos so that
you can reach your highest potential and opens yourself up to Divine
energy. I think Carolyn Myss referred to this area as our "Grace Bank
Account". As Reiki is divinely guided life force energy, it makes
sense that you feel tingling in this area when you are connected to
the Reiki source - this shows that you are connected to Reiki and that
it is flowing through you. I often seen this area is dedication to
the divine consciousness and trusting in the universe.

Namaste,
Roger

My name is Jessie,

I have been Reiki 1 attuned last year August. I have not really
practiced on anyone or done any self healing.

I do have a question though. When I try to draw in Reiki energy to
myself, I feel a tingling on top of my head. I guess that you would
call that the crown charka. Would someone please explain to me why
this happens?

Thank you very much!

I hope no one minds. This is an urgent need. If you do mind, I will
refrain from any non direct reiki discussion in the future... please pass
along.

If anyone knows of a place Barb can rent inexpensively temporarily (few
months hopefully) or has a room to rent or allow, please contact BARB UHLIR
blu13053@... or 414-365-1655 by or before this weekend (Dec 1-3,
2007). Phone will not be on after Dec 4th.

Barb is a reiki-attuned astrologer in the Milwaukee area.

If nothing else, please send reiki, prayers, blessings to Barb and her
living situation and landlord conflict. (She was evicted while unemployed.)

Thanks

I remember at the last meetup, Vi asked me about the Distant Healer's
Network. I thought I would post the link here so that anyone else
who may be interested can join. How it works, is that every week you
are assigned an individual to whom you will send distant healing for
an entire week. It's a wonderful program and I've been with them for
a couple of years now. Plus it's a great excuse to do Reiki every day!

The Web address is: http://www.the-dhn.com/

Roger

Hi Amy,

Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving! The main intention of the group
is to provide those who are part of the MIlwaukee Reiki Meetup a more
flexible outlet for messaging. I've had a few comments that posting/
reading messages is a bit of a pain on the Meetup boards as there is
no way to turn messaging off (to read online only) or receive all
messages in digest form. Additionally, with the Yahoo! group, we can
add photos and upload files and articles that may be of interest to
others. While this group is an offshoot of the Meetup group, anyone
who is interested in discussing Reiki is certainly welcome to join so
we are not just limited to the Milwaukee area.

Reiki "experiments" can be fun. I remember that the Reiki_On list
used to do them monthly and I personally enjoyed them. Doing "group"
healings to a geographical location is always a great idea and the
healing power sent by a group can be extremely beneficial.

I'd be happy to add you to my distant healing list!

As for the Master class, I am planning on scheduling one around the
second week of January so if you are interested in this class, it
gives you about a month and half to finish documenting your treatments.

Hope you can make it to one of our Meetups sometime!

Namaste,
Roger

Hi Everyone!

I thought I'd start out the message area by welcoming everyone to the group!
This is a place
to discuss, ask questions about and explore Reiki. So feel free to jump in!
I'm looking
forward to getting to know everyone.

Namaste,
Roger
