Anyone do any research on this vaccine? Looks like they might be
offering it to school-aged kids for the upcoming school year. I
normally don't give Lily the regular flu shot, but this flu seems
dangerous.
The vaccine will be more dangerous than the actual flu its self. While there
is the risk of it further mutating, how can they guarantee that the flu
vaccine they're making now will cover any potentially mutating flu virus.
Not to mention that this virus is suspected to be manmade. It is also
suspected that much of this is purely hype (meaning the flu scare) to use up
the Tamiflu that the government purchased back during the big avain flu
scare, because all that Tamiflu will expire this year.
I would NEVER give my children this flu shot. I have been following this
since day one. If you would like to email me offline, you are more than
welcome to. :) autismrr at gmail dot com

Folks, If you get a vaccination exemption per one of the options for the
state that you live in, this is not a problem. We have a religious one for
both of our kids in Virginia, and all it took was having a form notarized.
More info is at the National Vaccine Information Center website of http://www.nvic.org/vaccine-laws.aspx. If you have any questions about
this, please CALL me. Thanks! Scott

If the child is attending DoD childcare, daycare, or schol age program, the
state exemption will most likely not apply. DoD does medical and
administrative exemptions. No philosophical exemptions are accepted.

Both my sons go to day care and participate in school age programs on post
(Ft. Belvoir) and they accepted, without any problems, their Religious
exemption. Thus far, I haven't had any problems every time I've turned in
any of my kids religious exemptions on or off post.

Does anyone know whether the DoDDS (or DoDDSE) schools are going to require this
vaccine for school enrollment? I understand that it's being OFFERED, but is it
REQUIRED?
