Hello Sonya nice meeting you
I started this group several years ago when I was having such a hard time with
Tricare and PFPWD. My son was dx at 21 months and the insurance and military was
not doing anything. I actually had nurse from the Tricare hotline tell me that
if my son's Devlopmental Ped exam came back that he was autistic that they would
even pay for the exam. HOW UN TRUE THAT WAS- LIE. I finally got speech covered
for my son through PFPWD. I had no clue about this, I only heard about it
because of other military families on line. I tried to call my husband (ex now)
base and ask about it and NO-ONE knew anything. That is why I started this club.
So we cam all help one another
My son is now 8 and I am currently getting divorce from my retired CG EX- I dont
really know anything about Tricare and PFPWD anymore but will not delete the
club because I know if can be a big help to others
Good luck to you and I am very aware of autism since I been living it for many
years so questions about It I can help you with and if I dont know the answer I
