School Starting - Anyone's child have an aid in classroom?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #818 of 4659 |
On some of the other boards I belong to on Yahoo!, I have noticed a
lot of discussion about their children having an aide in the
classroom to help their child. Now, I don't think all of these kids
are in "mainstream" classes, but some are in classes with other
special needs kids. I was just wondering if anyone on here has
successfully gotten an aide for their child in a military class (my
daughter attends on post school and is in a pre-K class with other
children with special needs). Any input on how you got one and the
process you had to go thru to get it would be appreciated. I think
Sierra learns better in a one-on-one basis even though she thrives
in a classroom setting as well, just on two different levels.

Any input is greatly appreciated.
