Hello,
my husband has been in the navy for years, and our son was dx with autism 2
years ago. he just emailed from japan and said we need to sign our son up
with some exceptional person service- i think with tricare.
I've read up on it alittle- but if someone can give me some real info on it-
any tricks of the trade. Is it helpful? if so, how? have you all signed up?
My husband has been overseas for over 5 years and i wish he could get
orders closer to where we live- I could use the help. But, we're on Long Island
and no bases in sight.
I do know a guy who is in the Navy and got a 6 month job working funerals at
the national cemetary near here- because his 54 year old father died.
He said he had to help his grown mother (she has 2 other grown children in
the area and has no special needs). So, i'm thinking- i've got a child with
autism and he really NEEDS his father.
Any ideas??? thanks-
Christine
