Re: CharlestonAFB/ECHO/ABA/SCHOOL/new member

Hi Kay. Thank you for responding to the post. What school does
your son go to? How many hours of ABA at school and home? I know
that the max amount for ABA at home from ECHo is $2500, I wonder how
many hours a month that covers. So when do you think I should have
the school sign that form? It just seems like time is going by and
I have yet to get ABA started for my son. If the school knows that
I have ECHO to cover ABA I feel that they might not see that we need
it from them. I don't know what I should do about it. I have an
early interventionst and a parent advocate going with me to the IEP
meeting. I just want to know if I should wait to fill out the ECHO
paperwork. This is all so confusing at hard but my husband and I
will do whatever it takes to get our son the services he needs.
Thanks Kay.

Catrina

currently on bedrest, expecting any day now but I really would like
to help in any way that I can. Our son also receives ABA at home
covered by ECHO. Please remember that you are an equal member of the
IEP team and they cannot simply deny services because they do not
want to provide them. I'm aware of the issues with them not being
able to get reimbursed through medicaid for aba but they are still
required to provide your son a FAPE.
