My husband is having a hard time finding a job in his area of
speciality but in the military positions for this specility are
everywhere.... So he is concidering enlisting or joining the nat.
guard... My only concern is we have a 3 yr old son with physical
disabilities. He had 2 massive strokes when he was 4 days old and now
gets a lot of therapy... I was wondering if there was other families
with special needs children in the military and how the care services
(PT,OT,SLT), SSI, and community was with these children. Oh and are
the base facilities accessable for chair bound individuals. My son is
very mentally alert but physically has low body tone and does not walk
at this time... any help or advise would be appreciated
