Hi all,

has anyone else have problems when PCSing or moving due to
deployment?? we just left moved from Ft. Bragg to Tucson AZ and we
brought our sons IEP to get him enrolled in the pre K program.. his
IEP states that he needs a full day program as well as 1600mins of
speech and occupational therapies because of his severity. There are
no DOD schools here and that the school district here is telling me
that we will most likely have to redo his IEP because they can not
provid services for him. Their program is 2hrs 4 days a week where
we came from 5 days a week full time prek... where he excelled.. I
thought an IEP was legal contract?? any suggestions on how to handle
this... right now I am considering a private prek school which
specializes in autism but, the down side is that it will cost us
950.00 a month to put Brandon in 6hrs 5 days a week..

any insight would be appreciated
