Subject: RE: [Military Families Autism Support] Question?
We live in Charleston Sc. and are enrolled in ECHO. The $2500 a month only
covers 6 hours of ABA a week with our Board Certified Provider .There are
two company's in town that provide ABA . Being in the support group we chose
the more expensive provider because they have a great reputation and they
also do verbal behavior .Our little girl has been making great progress
since we started in Dec. We also get some local funding through the
Dissabilities Board of Charleston County it is not much but $100 a month
pays some hours for a line therapist . (College student beeing trained by my
therapist )We are also looking into Personal Care Asstistance since my
husband will be deploying for a year and they have told us the chances are
good for either picking your own provider or having one of there home health
companies coming to the house . The schools also provide ABA . Hope this
helps . What is the Regional Center ?

Just wandering how many of you all are enrolled in ECHO? And how many hours
of ABA therapy and Respite are you getting? Anybody using Regional Center
with Echo for additional hours?
