Dear friends,

It is with profound sadness that I write to tell you that our dear
friend, colleague and mentor Shelley Davis is gravely ill. Shelley
has been battling breast cancer for several years, and it has recently
overtaken her body. The decision was made this weekend to discontinue
the treatment of the cancer and to let her pass peacefully. If you
have any thoughts you would like to share with her husband Tom or her
