A new multi-media website, "Border Stories," may be of interest to readers of this list-serve. The site provides documentary vignettes by a bilingual crew that traveled along both sides of the border from Brownsville, TX, to Tijuana, Mexico, making what they call "hyper-focused video installments" (this phrase is not from the website but from an interview appearing in the Tucson Weekly, July 10-16, 2008, page 26). The film-makers plan more, for which they are seeking additional funding. You'll need sound, once you access the clips – ones I viewed were all less than ten minutes.
