EPA's 2007 Pesticide Worker Safety and Health Conference

EPA is pleased to invite you to attend its Occupational Pesticide Safety and Health Symposium which will be held this fall, October 2 - 4, in Washington D. C. at the Hilton Crystal City near Reagan National Airport.

The conference will focus on a broad range of pesticide safety issues of interest to farmworker support organizations and agencies, migrant education, labor, agriculture and health providers, safety trainers, academic researchers, and a broad range of agencies and organizations interested in the occupational health of workers exposed to pesticide hazards.

Experts from across the nation will discuss issues including pesticide safety training and education, key health studies, interpret ting pesticide poisoning incidents, take home pesticide exposures to farmworker families, working with health care providers to communicate safe practices among workers and their families and how to prevent pesticide exposure through engineering and safe application practices.
