Dear colleagues,
Given your interest in community-based participatory research (CBPR), I am
writing to share some information about upcoming CBPR professional development,
funding and publishing opportunities.
If you're not already subscribed to the free CBPR listserv cosponsored by
Community-Campus Partnerships for Health (CCPH) and the Wellesley Institute, I
hope you will subscribe today! Since its launch in June 2004, the listserv has
grown to over 3,000 subscribers who are passionate about CBPR and is a valued
resource for information-sharing and collaborative problem-solving. The
opportunities below are just a sampling of the sorts of postings that regularly
appear on the listserv. To subscribe, go to:
http://mailman1.u.washington.edu/mailman/listinfo/cbpr
Let me also take this opportunity to invite you to become a member of CCPH if
you have not already joined. CCPH promotes health (broadly defined) through
partnerships between communities and higher educational institutions, including
CBPR. A brochure is attached for your review and membership categories and
benefits are also described at http://depts.washington.edu/ccph/members.html.
