RE: [migrant_health_research] Question

Prasad VL. Subcutaneous injection of mercury: "warding off evil". Environ Health Perspect 2004; 112: 1326-1328.

This paper describes the clinical case of Latino farmworkers injecting mercury.

Subject: [migrant_health_research] Question

Hello Everyone,
I recent received the following request and I am hoping some of you may be able to point me in the right direction.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
"I'm looking for information about exposure to mercury among migrant populations in Oregon. Do you have any resources on this or have suggestions for where I might find information? I understand that some Latino populations have been known to use mercury for medicinal and religious purposes. Any help you could provide on this topic would be much appreciated. Thanks."
