Residency Patterns of Latinos
There are several sources of information from which one may “piece together”
data on Residency Patterns of Latinos. Some of it focuses on immigration and
migrants, including those who are undocumented, and some considers Latinos.
Most of the material is general.
The Pew Hispanic Center releases numerous reports on immigration, particularly
in relation to Hispanics / Latinos. http://pewhispanic.org
The Kaiser Family Foundation released several reports on Latinos in 2002, 2004,
2005, and through their Web Site one may go to State Policy, then State Health
Facts, and secure data state by state http://www.kff.org
Other organizations exist, based in universities, such as the National Latino
Research Center (California State University – San Marcos) and Julian Samora
Research Institute (Michigan State University), among several. One may contact
them and discuss what one is looking for and they may provide guidance.
Center for Immigration Studies also releases studies http://www.cis.org
