As long as the Medical Provider shows in their notes that it was connected to their work environmental, it is an occupational disease. A similar question came up about TB in the workplace. A worker contracted TB because of the exposure in a van with 10 other workers who where on their way to work.

Poison Ivy
Hello Everyone,
I recently received the following question and I am not sure what the answer is. I am hoping some of you might have an idea. Thanks for the help.
"Is poison ivy considered an occupational disease for farmworkers? Does you know of a mechanism in place to report it?"
