Another way to differentiate between promotora and outreach
workder is the following:
Promotores are chosen because they are members of the target
community. Typically, they get on the job training to handle a
particular task. While many do outreach and education others work
inside a clinic or institution and provide a variety of services such
as
translation. Many promotores, even when paid, are not full time
staff.
Some receive salaries others receive stipends and some get no
compensation at all. By contrast outreach workers tend to be
full-time
paid staff (even if they only work for part of the year). They may or
may not be members of the target community.

Can someone tell me the specific difference between an
outreach worker, case manager and promotore(a)?. I know at our clinic
some of the outreach workers have undergone promotora training but not
all of them.
