Boy, am I glad those tests are over. I went for tests yesterday that were to
start at 1pm. I got in a half hour later. I had my sonograms first. I can't
have a mammo because I am epileptic and have nerve disease. So, the technician
used a wand instead of the machine. The next was the pelvic. I couldn't hold a
belly full of water, so she had to go in with a long wand for a good several
minutes while my husband and she talked. That was uncomfortable to say the
least. It is 3:48 am in the morning and I can sure feel it now. I then went in
for a Decascan for bone density. That was like an "open space" MRI. I already
had a headache....that made it even worse....migraine alley. It wasn't loud,
mind you, just noisy. Last, but not least, the EKG for preop. That too less than
2 min and not even painful. WhooHoo. I took two Excedrin.....that seemed to
help. Oh yea. I am parially paralyzed on my left side. The technician for the
Decascan had to used weights on my left
side to make my left foof bowlegged. My foot and hip felt almost useless for a
while, but I got it back. My D&C is on the 18th. I hope ya'll have a painfree
day as possible. Enjoy your Saturdies, ladies and gents. Peace to all. Martha
