sorry i have not been on the past few days.
I had a c.p.seizure Friday evening, yesterday morning & last night. I have
been so tired. Then on top of that I started with a mild migraine Saturday
afternoon. I take Esgic for my headaches - but my husband and I are also trying
for a baby so I try to take as little medications (besides the ones I need for
seizures) as needed. When I talked to my obstetrics on Thursday he did tell me
to try (if possible) to use other prescribe meds. that he pointed out as little
as possible. Of course one was Esgic. I still have it, but it is not bad.
When I told my neuro my husband and I wanted to have a baby, my neuro. lowered
my keppra just by 25 mg. on January 9. Well after just being off of it for one
day I started having seizures. I did try to stay off of it but started back to
the regular amount on the 11th. My neuro. put me back on my regular amount for
now till I see him in March.
It has really been such a pain trying to contact my neuro.since he had to
move. I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and my doctors is/was in New Orleans.
After hurricane Katerina he had to relocate here in Baton Rouge. He shares a
clinic with an eye doctor center. So when I call there the nurses do not give
messages to my doctors nurse right off like it was in New Orleans. So once my
neuros. nurse found out about my seizures and the problems I was having getting
in touch to let my doctor know she was mad. So she gave me a private number to
call.
