I do hope that someone has an answer on this.
I was telling my friend who has epilepsy about testing I have had done over the
years. There is one that she found so amazing. The only problem is, is that I
do not know the name of it cause it was performed when I was a very young. So
maybe someone may know of what I am talking about.
It is a test that is performed for monitoring. The doctor(s) would have a long
needle or something similar to that go into both sides of my cheek. Electrodes
are attached so the monitoring can be performed. I have had this performed 2x
in the past and all I can remember is that it was very painful when the doctors
were trying to have the needles go into the correct area of my cheek (i think it
is the cheek and jaw bone that it has to be placed between).
I have tried to look for information about it on the Internet. With out knowing
the name of the test, I have had no luck. So if anyone knows of what I am
talking about just let me know. If not, that's ok.
Thanks
Ashley
