Well, there is a little action on the forum now. Thank you for all the
posting on helps. I have a stick, looks like lipstick, from the health
store, called "migrastick", which is in a small tube, liquid roll on.
Helps some if I catch it right away. It is peppermint, lavander, and
essential oils from "Health from the Sun". Also on Feverfew 3 x a day,
which does seem to be kicking in now. Because of 3 colon diseases, one
is very rare, GI doc gave me a medicine, ascanol, and the side affect
is headaches. Guess I quit that one, and stick to the diet I am on. I
also keep tabs on when I get the headaches, at full moon, those are
the worse ones. Mine vary from the type that feel like the eyes are
punched out, to trobbing pains down my spine, the light and noise
hurt, and sometimes vomiting. I use tripe ginger ale from the health
store for that, along with ginger pills. Also use ice patches, and a
lavander pillow. I suppose this may be part of the epilepsy picture,
unless one is taking a lot of meds for the epilepsy. My neurologist
goes slow, because one time meds put me in a coma for a yr., and
another drug put me in a wheelchair for 3 yr. Thus I sort of shy away
from meds.
Thank all of you for your support.
