Re: [migraines with epilepsy] tired/Dan

Hello Dan
Thank you for responding. Sorry it has taken me a while to respond, things have
been busy for me. I guess with the holidays and having such a big family could
cause anyone to stay busy around the holidays.
I am so sorry to here of all the problems that you are having. You are very
lucky and blessed to have such a supportive family to be there for you.
The ringing in my ear that happened last year only lasted for around 3 to 4
months. I now here it when I go into a seizure. So that is why my doctor has
me on meds. to take after I have the seizure. It must be so hard for you to
handle that every day. Is it a loud ring/sound? For me it was so loud. I
would put my hand over my right ear and just cry because it was so loud. I
found that laying on a heating pad helped. Is there any meds. that your doctor
has you on for the sound in your ear?
My balance was bad for a long time after the grand mal seizure last year. Now
it is better. My only problem is my right side being weak. That is what makes
my balance hard at times.
Yes - I would really like to know of some chat rooms to go to and talk and learn
about depression. Any recommendation you or anyone else has will help.

Thank you so much for emailing back. If you ever need to talk you know were to
reach me.

I wish you the best also.

Take care

Hi Ashley,

I understand how you feel. I also have trouble talking some times. My memory
problems keep me from working again. I can't take care of my family. Instead
they take care of me. The ringing in the ears (if it's the same as mine) is
never gone (for me). My balance is gone and I fall allot. It is hard to get
excited about anything. Depression goes with this sort of problems. We have to
hold out for hope and push on. At least your doctors are trying to figure things
out. Maybe they will soon. Hang in there. You never know what tomorrow will
bring. I could recommend some chat sites if you want to talk to others that have
disabilities. You can learn how they cope with these things. One helped me allot
back in 2000 when I had to finally accept my problems and learn to adjust. Any
way I just wanted you to know your not alone.
