Hi, I had grand mal seizures in Febuary 1999 when I had menigital encephilitis.
Since then I have had trouble on my left side with dragging my foot, weakness in
my arm and leg, balance problems (I broke the baby gate at the top of the stairs
the other night). The doctor says I'm not having seizures and can drive. I
probably shouldn't (I think), but have little choice. This morning I was driving
my son to school. It's about 20 miles since he started in another district
before moving in with me. When we were almost there I realized where I was but
didn't remember driving there. This has happened before and is very disturbing.
I know I drove ok, but don't remember doing it. I've heard that this could be a
complex partial seizure but don't know. I do have a lot of memory problems. Just
got over a bad migrain that I had last night. Any one have an idea what's going
on. My neuro is useless. Social security says I'm fine (have my hearing finally
on the 24th of this month). No idea what to
do. The memory problems and the migrains are what keep me from working.
Anything would be helpful.
Thanks,
Dan
