I've been having lots of seizures lately, mild ones, but I'm still
losing consciousness and becoming atonic which I am afraid to go
through outside of my house because it's happening so often and I'm
afraid I'll end up falling under the train, down the stairs, or run
over by a car or start a fire. I was pouring a cup of coffee for
myself the other day and the coffe pot suddenly hit the counter and
coffee splashed out all over my stomach. If I hadn't been wearing a
thick sweatshirt I would have been burned. A while ago I was
watching my bird play--it was in front of me, then to me left, then
to my right, like what people look like under a strobe light and I
felt myself going out each time. The other day I kept going out and
had to sit on the couch and even between them I could not get up
because I was too disoriented.
My doctor took me back down to 600 Dilantin because 800 was too
toxic, and he put me back on Lamictal (now up to 100mg day). I'm
still a zombie and am still having these and other types of seizures.
Thanks for being here to listen.
