Description
Mid Michigan Autism Association MMAA is a non-profit organization that was formed by a group of parents and care-givers of children with Autism. We all live in different cities, such as: Charlotte, Dewitt, East Lansing, Haslett, Lansing, Jackson and Shaftsburg. Our children vary in age from 3 years old to 20 years old and in cognitive level.
This yahoo group is to be a forum for conversations between our parents about Autism in the Mid Michigan area.
Have a question about schools, diet, ABA, therapists or do you just want to make connections with others in the same situation as you? This is the place!
Our group will be sponsoring more "get togethers" like the ones that we have already had. Monsters vs. Aliens movie, swimming at the Hannah Community Center, Jumping Jacks and dinner at the I-hop. Please visit our website for upcoming events and information on local resources.
