I throttled 'er back even more, total of 255K ohms. Wetted electrodes at
.14ma. After about 3-4 minutes I couldn't take it- felt like a hundred tiny
drill bits into my wrists.

I have proven some things to my own satisfaction:

I have damaged my wrist skin, apparently permanently. There is nothing to
see or feel, but the sensitivity is incredible.

I cannot take long term DC in either polarity. I'm going to have to try
cycling it faster. I'm going to set my timer for 15 seconds.

Stainless Steel vs. Silver electrodes has nothing to do with it, but I'm
sure silver ones will last longer and are probably still better for me.

I have proven to myself that low current has to be getting through. As to
whether or not it will give me the same results I got a few years ago with
current of over 1ma, I just don't know. At this rate, I'm not sure I'm going
to get a chance to find out.

If this continues not working out for me, I'm going to have a find a new way
to get current into me, but it's not going to be my ankles in the middle of
the night, no sirree.
