Either way works. Keep in mind the inside uses a copper
disc to close the ckt; activated by the coil around a
ferrite coil core.

When you have 2 small terminals - is typically a Ford
solenoid, one goes to each coil wire end [they are
typically about 2.5" high from top of the tin lid to
bottom of the bakelite case; all others are longer,
foreign may be skinier]. One goes to ground, other goes
to the switch. The reason Fords are used consistently is -
the starter bendix ass'y is innertial, self engages when
the motor armature rotates; all others have to overcome a
stiff spring to engage. More solenoids have only 1 small
terminal than 2; other coil connection is inside the case,
to the mount bracket, won't work if not grounded.

Hardly anyone ever mentions the fact that part of the
definition of 'virus' is - contains a static net charge.
Look in 'most any college level physics text for 'right
hand rule' - gives the direction of the reaction force on
the virus when immersed in a CHANGING magnetic field. They
can be caused to drift by repeated pulsing, works because
the rate of field change is higher at pulse start than at
end so gets a net movement result. At the instant of
current interruption, the stored coil field energy starts to
collapse but the mass of the switch disc is enough that
it doesn't move much so an arc starts, is sustained by
the energy field, leads to welding the contacts when the
wire length in the treatment coil is too short, can & has
stuck the battery contact thru the solenoid on, treatment
coil heats quick & fries the patient before they can get
it off.

You have 2 possible solutions to this - either use a solid
state relay ass'y that can't weld or - put in a protect
switch you can trip immediately. Parts of this have been
covered in 'magpulser' egroup over the last 1.5 yrs. They
have accumulated enough technology to implement a mostly
safe system that seems to advance the state of the healing
art.

Not confirmed - only speculation.

Need about 150 ft to keep heating during 'normal' use low.

Accepted practice. Note the duration of the on - off cycle
transient should be about 100 mS, about 400 mS between or
it heats too much. This is too fast for manual switching
effectiveness.

Is the result of gross incompetence. If you did a normal
transient circuit solution - would need a grossly too short
unsafe wire to get there, guarantees contact welds, get
your head straighter before you volunteer.

12 V / 2 K amps = 0.006 ohms.

#9 wire has 1262 ft / ohm so .006 x 1262 = 7.57 ft.

First - #9 is special order - use #8 or 10.

More unsubstantiated rumor. The above might be true but
not by the rumored mechanism.

Early magpulser notes indicate all the above came about
because the Beck device wasn't big enough. It focused
better but couldn't make the field densities found to be
lots more effective.

Note there is no pump for lymph, relies on body movement
to get drift. Also note that virii can hide in nerve
sheaths, etc. where blood circulation is negligible & can
only get virii drift there from large magnetic field
CHANGING DENSITY.
Cases have been rumored that had the field polarity
backwards, resulted in forcing the virii backwards into the
brain cavity & CNS, developed brain infection, mostly
untreatable by 'normal' M.D.s married to using antibiotics
like candy - won't pass thru the blood - brain barrier.

There is substantial data posted on magpulser. Master it
before you plug in; start at msg #1. This treatment can be
a serious hazard to the unwary.

While it might look simple - even doesn't cost a whole lot -
is a lot more risky than at first glance; PROCEED WITH
CAUTION.

NO!!! That won't work at all! The two large connections on the solenoid are like the two connections on a lightswitch, when the switch is "off" there is no...
