I'd like to experiement with a copper/zinc handgrips for steering wheel
of a car. I know that iron and copper also work, but to lesser
degree. Zinc is toxic, no?

What other choice metals do we have that would electrolyze similar to
zinc but not be toxic. I tried tin (very safe) and found it is less
effective than iron.

I guess iron and copper would be the best bets?
