Another way to stimulate more activity would be to advertise on the "rookie site" for the more advanced site - so people who may be interested in more advanced stuff gets to know about the advanced site.

many people may start on the "rookie site" and then after some time may be interested in more advanced stuf - but they may simply dissapear since they do not know about the advanced site.

Also, sending out an email to all users on teh rookie site about the advanced site may give more "new blood" to the site.

it appears that whenever someone comes up with an idea then a lot of activity happens for a couple of weeks and then it "dies off" till someone else gets a new idea - which may take a while.

Hi john, you can use this electrode jel. I have used it and one application will last a loong time. It dose not dry out unless you leave it exposed to the air...
