RE: [Microcephaly Support Group] possible treatments or medications

Welcome,
My son will be 11 next month. He has had micro since birth caused by an
"unknown" syndrome. We were told he wouldn't be much of anything if he survived
past age 5. His four years of life were touch and go (almost lost him 4 or 5
times), he has had allot of health problems, you can read about him on the
website www.HugsandHope.org he was featured in 2001 as Zachary T.

He is in regular 5th grade doing regular math, science and social studies. He
is having difficulty in reading, spelling and writing. He started walking
without aid at age 2, was running at age 3 1/2 and was talking at age 4 1/2. He
still has allot of issues like having leg and foot surgery, seizure disorder and
possible teathered cord, but he is still learning and developing.

Good luck with the future.;Deborah T
