my son dane is 15 years old. he was diagnosed as microcephalic at
the age of 3, he had miclonic seizures, epelepsy [no longer]
learning difficulties, feeding problems as a baby got good tips for
that. delayed speech, behaviour problems, that makes me laugh that
word , if trying too climb out his bedroom windows at the age of 5
and biteing himself problems well we had the lot !!!! i could go on.
on there is 15 years of knowledge stored up..well i just wanted to
say my son what he lacks in brains he makes up with in other ways,
he has grown up too be a very careing kind, clever , bright in many
ways, helpfull, brilliant young man.!!! belive me i never thought
this day would come but he has turned into a wonderfull person who
everybody loves and trusts. he still has many battles with his
speech, hearing, and learning he is still on key stage 1 for most
subjects, but i got him into this brilliant school that just
bringing him on in leeps and bounds. he no longer has epilepsy,
thats another long story. i hated to give him epeleptic drugs!! so i
didnt long story..he had miclonic seizures we sorted that out as
well..if you ever need hope for the future my son dane is that
hope!! I have another baby dane is the big brother too be proud off
he is so loving and helpfull. he is normal .. i hate the word normal
what is normal!!! I have read other peoples messages and i just
wanted everybody to know there is so much hope for the future, my
son is the best son in the world. and i am very lucky too have him.
