Re: [Microcephaly Support Group] I am a new member

Dearest Diane,

Thank you so much for answering my email. I really feel so anxious at times
especially when I think of how my daughter Ana will cope up and live a life to
knowing how to count the change when she does the marketing, or as simple as
measuring when baking, or as simple as reading C-V-C words.

The school of my daughter is not a special school but a progressive one.
Unfortuntely, it is a none profit school so our resources are very limited. (I
know because I also work there).

Did you take up SPED? Are you suggesting that I enroll myself? If I go to the
U.S. Which part of the US should I go to so I can see and learn for myself how
things are being done there for children like ours. And hopefully, with God's
grace, I would be able to bring home the technology and help other children as
well.

Sorry to bombard you with all these questions because I really do not know how
to do it since there are no available help here in the Philippines. As of the
moment, my daughter is undergoing tutoring but for only 2x a week.

God bless and hope to hear from you soon.

Christine.

P.S What does HPE mean?

special ed class? If so i would be trying to find out
if they would be will to get touch screens for
computers and other games for HC children. My son has
micro and also HPE so i know what you are going
through but with me in the states care is better here.
