The MB group that I'm going to in FL is a brand new franchise and they don't have any recipes yet. I'm hoping that you will share some with me if you've been on the MB plan for awhile. The two people who started the franchise did so after being on the MB Plan themselves for a couple of months. One joined for health and lower cholesterol and the other was an insulin dependent diabetic, who went off his insulin in a couple of months. Both have lost weight and feel great.
I was going to try and start a Metabolic Balance group for the people in the US, but since I found this group, I think it will be more fun to share experiences across the ocean. I have looked at Pema's website and she has looked at mine, so I feel like I know her. Isn't the internet great? Pema, you are an Energy Healing Therapist. That sounds interesting. Have you ever looked into the Emotional Freedom Technique. It can be used to unblock energy and heal all kinds of things. My daughter used EFT for weight loss, tapping on the accupressure points when she had a craving. I have been looking into it and you might find it interesting too. There are EFT practitioners in the UK. Check out the website where you can learn it for free by downloading a manual. www.emofree.
com I am feeling pretty good, even with only being on the plan for about a week and a half. I'm finding that I am getting used to the food. It sure keeps me from being hungry or from craving chocolate. I haven't had my training yet in the Science of the Plan, and I'm looking forward to learning that information. I hope when Phase 3 starts that I get a few more Vegetables and Fruits to eat. My fruits are very limited right now, with Apples, Mangos, Papaya, Cantelope, Blackberries & Lemon. (How do you EAT a lemon?) I like many other fruits. Also, I love Broccoli, Cauliflower, and other veggies that aren't on my plan right now. I hope some of them will be added in for Phase 3.
