Hi all,
had an early weigh in this week as I won't get a chance on Saturday -
going to watch Arsenal play football. I've been on the diet for nearly
3 weeks and I've lost 15 kilo's so far. Even the cynics are starting to
see the benefits now. The best thing is I'm not even hungry between
meals anymore. The hardest thing is drinking 4 litres of water per day -
gets expensive too.
I'm also starting to feel more energetic now and it's easier without
carrying this weight around. When I get to my ideal weight (in 10 weeks
at this rate) I will have lost the equivalent to my wifes weight! Which
is kind of scary as I've only got 1 heart. I watched a scary programme
tonight that pointed to the fact that over 35% of people living in the
Uk will suffer from heart disease before the age of 50 - most through
being overweight. What an incentive to pass on the dessert trolley!
My best friends wife is from Malaysia and said she will send me some
good recipes for vegetarian thai and malaysian meals. She only uses
natural ingredients and spices so should suit most tastes and MB diets.
