Hi everyone,

TheAMT.com is dead, long live TheAMT.com!

After serving over ten million pages of content since 1998 and bringing
countless thousands of people to the world of energy psychology, the old
TheAMT.com has been retired and replaced with brand new website software.

Over the past 11 years, the website has grown to include many different sections
which made the conversion quite tricky. Yet in just 24 hours the AMT team moved
approx 400 articles over yesterday and I'm very pleased to see Google has
already updated their listing.

There are a couple of more obscure sections to move over next week.

The new site is built on our very own SpaceNode technology which I've written to
make handling lots of high-traffic, content rich websites easier to manage and
super attractive to search engines.

Some of the features in brief we are most proud of:

+ We've had a complete visual refresh to make the content more accessible and
easier to read. You'll also notice a lot more pictures and images which bring
much more colour to the site.

+ The hyperlinks are more meaningful and easier to link to from your websites
and blogs. eg:

+ Search engines are going to love these new hyperlinks!

+ We've done our best to map over old-links to new-links, so if you've made a

stays up-to-date. AMT members pages also show a list of recent articles and
events they have coming up.

dragonrising.com, emotionsandfeelings.com, 1-eft.com, genius23.com, etc) is also
listed on the authors members pages, eg:

+ We have installed our own Search Engine on our site to make our
ever-increasing content easy to find. We have our own search robot which visits
our sites once per day, keeping all the articles, member listings and events

person has their image displayed. eg:

Note: If your image is not displayed - email it into the office!

+ Members can update their profiles themselves using their SpaceNode login,
which is the same as they would use for dragonrising.com or EmoTrance.com.

... and countless other little improvements here & there.

As for the future, I'm hoping by the end of the year, we'll be able to give all
AMT members their own SpaceNode, either on their own domain for a few pounds per
month (such as my http://alexkent.com/ or Silvia Hartmann's http://1-eft.com/)
or in a sub-directory of our main website for free (such as
http://theamt.com/members/alex_kent/).

Having a SpaceNode gives you the freedom to have different pages on your site
rather than the one-page system we have at the moment. Members will easily be
able to create blogs, their own events pages, articles and even setup their own
online shops using PayPal to take the money. They'll also be able to add their
own blocks to their pages, so they can feed in news from other sites, or display
`widgets' such as their facebook status, twitter tweets, etc.

This will probably be the first real option for many of our members to own their
first website, along with getting a professional email address such as
yourname@....

So, thanks to everyone who has contributed articles over the past 11 years. Do
keep them coming in as The AMT wouldn't be where it is today without you!

Hi Donna,
PEAT is a unique technique Energy/Meridian Therapy that reduces the charge of
the challenge using 2 acupoints. Like EFT, it is easy to run surrogately for the
benefit of one not present. It can be self applied or with a practitioner.
In the case of utilizing it for an animal, I will be the practitioner and the
client will connect to the dog and we will process responses from the point of
view of the dog as best as she can perceive them. Understandably the "content"-
the responses that are generated, will be through the filter of the woman
surrogately working. Yet the energetic benefit, because we are all connected,
will be for the pet.

The underlying factors and beliefs surface for the client and they become
conscious of what was not conscious before as the charge releases and they reach
an equilibrium state naturally. The "setup statements" modify as the client
flows deeper and deeper into the starting challenge. The setup statements are
created from the client's responses, so The client is in control at all times
and I simply facilitate their unfolding process. The process was developed by
Zivorad Mihajlovic Slavinski, a European therapist. The process has wide
applications and attracts those of varied interests and focus. PEAT has been
found valuable by therapists, counselors, coaches, bodyworkers, self help and
consciousness enthusiasts.  PEAT was presented by the author and well received
at the 2000 Toronto Energy Psychology Conference and the 2001 European Energy
Psychology Conference. I have been using it for 8 years, mostly by phone.

Before application, there is a challenge, during application the challenge
begins to unfold and release charge. Afterward there is an integrated state.

found it is often important to process from the body's point of view as well.

based in the Uk that offers animal communication courses. This means not only
can you do surrogate healing but actually find out exactly what the problem is

surrogate sessions for everyone involved; the husband and the wife and the
dog to get to the bottom of it. We are hoping that our combined focus will
be a benefit to the situation. It should be interesting. ..

Hi Karen,
That sounds like a fun experiment!

This weekend I will be teaching a friend how to do EFT on her fearful coonhound.
I am hoping by having both of us doing it (surrogate) that it will benefit her
dog to a greater degree. Poor dog is beside herself after the fireworks of
Halloween but also life in general.
Unfortunately for my friend, the fear is also unpredictable at times.

I am curious what PEAT is?
