Hi Jero,
In my experience you first need to address which shoulder is injured - the
right or the left. Anything to do with the right side is connected with male
issues, can be father, husband, son, boss, best friend etc or even your own
masculinity, and the left side is associated with the feminine - mother, wife,
daughter, grandmother, best friend, your own femininity etc.
Having established the side affected, you look at the body part. Shoulders
are where we carry our responsibilities. So, for example:- a young woman with
small children suffering from severe pain in her right shoulder could be
suffering from the fact that her husband had left her and she is feeling
overburdened with having to be mother and father to the children as well as
taking
care of all the things a husband would normally do. This was an actual example.
Once the emotional connection has been made, healing can follow. Go into the
injured body part, recognize that the pain is stuck energy and EmoTrance it.
Once the emotional injury has cleared the physical will usually heal more
quickly.
Lack of movement in the arm suggests an inability to hug someone (male or
female - look at the side). When the arm is held closely against the side, the
heart is more closely protected. Who cannot be hugged - for whatever reason?
Shoulders also become rigid when we are doing something we would prefer not to
be doing. Have a look at what small changes you could make in order to do
what you would really prefer to be doing.
Tricia
