Hi Robyn,
The only female MET practitioner we have listed in California is based
in Santa Monica. Being in the UK and not too fmailiar with CA, I'm not
sure if that's going to be helpful but it might be worth contacting
the member to seeif they would be willing to travel for a home-visit.
You can find contact details by clicking the 'Find A Practitioner'
link on the AMT website (www.TheAMT.com) and browsing the listings of:
United States> then California.
You could also try searching the TAT Practitioner listings which can
be found at www.tatlife.com
I've found both EFT and EmoTrance to be EXTREMELY effective in the
treatment of even the most severe anxiety. Both these techniques will
get your friend results fast when facilitated by a practitioner,
though both are also simple enough to learn for effective self-help
treatment in the meantime while you await an appointment.
You can point your friend in the right direction by going to the AMT
website and clicking on the link for 'New Visitors' at the top of the
main page. This will give you details of the EFT set up and basic
techniques to try out and see how you get on, with some useful
information on further reading and the best training manuals etc.
You can find out more information on EmoTrance by going to
www.emotrance.com and you can also download the free eBook 'The
Enchanted World' by Silvia Hartmann, PhD, which offers further insights.
The eBook is available for free download from either the AMT downloads
section or direct from the publishers, DragonRising Publishing
(www.dragonrising.com).
Let us know how you get on.
With best wishes,
Steve
