Hi Rosemary,
I'm not sure if I've introduced myself here or not either - if I
have, it was some time ago. I always read posts with interest, but
I have noticed the list has been kind of quiet lately.
I am in Ontario, Canada - it's really cold today here too! I can't
seem to warm up after having been outside earlier. :-)
I have been trained in a variety of different energy work
techniques - EFT, BSFF, NAEM, TAT, Energy Medicine, etc..
I am a psychotherapist, reiki master, and level 2 EMDR
practitioner. I also teach workshops.
I have also created a new technique which I call Zensight Process.
In it I put together some of the best aspects of my favourite energy
work techniques (BSFF and Energy Medicine are particularly strong
influences), together with many aspects of EMDR.
I use a great deal of visualization together with a focus on a cue
word (instead of the eye movements or bilateral stimulation of other
types that tends to be used with EMDR) or healing symbol, much like
BSFF uses.
What i am finding is that the results I am getting are even faster
and results generalize even better than with EMDR, but it doesn't
have the same risk of destabilization or emotional flooding that
sometimes occurs with EMDR.
I am looking forward to more discussions here!
Take care,
Carol Ann Rowland, MSW, RSW
