Men and boys suffer from eating disorders too. Disorders such as
bulimia, anorexia, binge eating disorders are present in males yet
often unrecognized or untreated. Other problems such as depression
and sustance use often coexist with the eating disorder. When men
struggle with eating disorders so do those who care about these men.
Friends, families, spouses, and colleagues of men and boys with
eating disorders are impacted too.
Pre-registration via phone/email is required for this specific focus
group/research . All inquiries will be treated strictly confidential.
This focus group for men with eating disorders (present or past) is
part of a larger research project. The principal investigator is Paul
Gallant of Providence Health Care and the University of British
Columbia.

programs to support males with eating disorders.
